So if I want to go skiing in 16 years I have to come to the UK?

Can anyone recommend a hotel, what will the piste conditions be like in say
March 2021, also what about a guide? What resorts can be recommended for a
grumpy old b***t**d?

Well according to our friends at the erstwhile guardian/observer Britain
will be 'Siberian' in less than 20 years which will, I guess, make it too
cold for skiing.

Another quote I like in the article:
"As early as next year widespread flooding by a rise in sea levels will
create major upheaval for millions"
well that sounds like a statement of fact to me: if it occurs I'll become a
fully paid up member of Greenpeace and take out an annual subscription to
The Guardian.

What, you told me that the American military has prepared some reports
based on speculative "what if" scenarios?

Can't recall that specific conversation, as it happens...

You misunderstand - you've been telling us it could just as easily get
colder - and according to the Pentagon, you may well be right....

Anytime in the next 45 minutes I assume. If the expected change in the Gulf
Stream comes about winter in the UK would be roughly similar to winter in
Nova Scotia - ouch!!!

FTW main road closed here due to accident, cars queuing up in the falling
snow...

Oh yeah, I forgot, sorry :-) Anyway, either scenario's as unlikely as
the other, from what I've read.

steady there, slow down, don't leap in until you've checked out the
mobile phone coverage, whether there's an ATM or an Internet Cafe and if
there's somewhere you get Swiss food....

Could have fooled me. The snow here(UK) these days is terrible. Glencoe and
Glenshee ski centres have both just gone up for sale due to lack of business
from a severe lack of snow!
Just goes to show that the Pentagon know nothing after all.
Cheers,
Neil
