I saw a news report this morning (tue) that Brighton has received 56"
since Thurs. They plan to open by Thurs. or Fri. with 30" of settled
snow at mid mountain. Of course by the next day it will be 10" of
smashed with 75" in the parking lot that has been scraped off the
mountain :-) But it still gives a pretty good idea of what we have here
now.

I also heard that rain is expected for the weekend. That is for Salt
Lake Valley. Who knows what the temps will be in the mountains? It could
go either way, especially this time of year.

Alta is reporting a total of 47" out of this last storm cycle, and
they are scheduled to open on Thurs Nov 20th.

The LCC/BCC specific forecast is calling for 2"-4" tonight, another
2"-4" tomorrow, and then snow everyday except Thursday, through
Veterans Day.

I might be wrong, but I don't think it will rain above 8,000 ft., just
some wet snow during the day. I'll take it...the wet stuff makes for
a nice base.

Now, if I could only find my waxing iron !
