Silva ski catalog
I found (It was my brother's) a ski catalog from 1969-1970:
"LET's GO SKI-JOGGING", from Silva USA, Laporte Indiana (better known as a compass maker) Most of the equipment is Swedish. Examples: No 51: Silva Super Special Racing Ski: made of laminated birch, balsa, reinforced with glassfibre. Width 55 mm. Cost : $38.50 Several touring skis, width 65 to 70 mm. Also: No 52: Silva Lapp Ski: Popular Lapland foresters' ski. Width 80 mm, Length up to 250 cm Cost: $35.00 Top racing binding is Rottefella Fenex 3 pin, 150 grams $5.95 Touring bindings are cable bindings. Most of the poles were made of tonkin, $6- $9. Top of the line racing poles were glassfibre "Jofa-VM Olympic", $20.
