Default Snowbird Early

I have a trip booked to Snowbird the first week in Dec. Looking at the
mountain cams, not much going on there as far as snow. Nothing at the
bottom and a foot or so up high. I'm getting nervous. Should I be, or is
it going to start dumping soon?

How is the skiing usually in the early season?
