Seeking a Vermont ski resort recommendation
I'm looking to stay at a Vermont ski resort for a weekend in the next
month or so with my girlfriend. I'm looking to get in some skiing and relaxing in the jacuzzi, something nice and romantic, with nice lodging and good restaurants/pubs in the area. I'm not really interested in a place that has the party atmosphere of Killington (something I'm trying to avoid, since I'm doing this right around Spring Break). As for the skill level, I'm just looking for a hill with decent beginner/intermediate trails. Considering that I live just north of New York City and don't want a ridiculously long drive, what would be a good place to go? I've been to Okemo (that's as far as I'm planning on driving), but what about places like Stratton and Mount Snow? And are there any good places in the Berkshires? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks. -jk |
