Neither can we. Try the new equipment already

I'm to the point I'd rather not ski than settle for inferior boards. I
tried them when they first came out (before actually) and a couple of
times since. If I have to rent some to go with guests when they come
to visit, I guess I will. But that's not skiing. It's just sliding
around.

That is to say you have a very narrow aspect of what is "skiing" (i.e.
very close-minded on skiing), care to elaborate what is your "real"
skiing?

No, they wouldn't. *If you put a skier on skinny skies maybe. *But if
you put the skier on modern big mountain powder skies like the Fat-
ypus where the skier stays on top of the snow instead of in it and the
skier skis a line similar to a big mountain snowboarder, the skier
will be faster.

No, they are not. Fat skis or not, they still have to deal with the
fact of inferior techniques "crossed tips," "forked skis," and uneven
footing, etc., etc. so they would be slower. Here's what I take as
"big mountain skiing" standard, see if you can match,http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e74qmbwBnuc

"crossed tips," "forked skis," and uneven footing are not issues for
someone who knows how to ski. Like high level big mountain skiers we
are talking about. As I said, there's nothing in your example that
most of us here didn't have mastered within a year of two of learning
how to ski.

And when I'm talking about big mountain skiing, I'm talking about the
type of skiing where it's impossible to do sideslipped 360's like you
are demonstrating. You really neet to try to expand that closed mind
of yours. Here's what I'm talking about:http://www.youtube.com/watch?
v=GPvVIMilXmc

Let's see you try to do your no poles sidelipped 360's on that
terrian. Then I will truely be impressed. Otherwise, all the stuff
you post is a joke.

Seriously, you still have problems with crossing tips? Just uncross
them and keep on skiing. I can see that the level of skiing I am
talking about here just isn't even on your radar. You can't even
comprehend it with that closed mind of yours. It's no wonder you
still think snowboards are faster.

I don't know about Itchy. But normally you have to get together with
a member of the opposite sex to breed. So, no.

Interesting, all the energy going to argue whether snowboards are
faster, with a person who by his own videos has proven that he can
hardly snowboard. If you'd like, I've got a brick who makes more
sense.

Who can only "hardly snowboard"? All you have to do is wait 5 minutes
and you'll be an expert. Does that brick snowboard? :-)

Better than you. I suspect.

I couldn't find the mute button fast enough !

Good skiing but I like the more turn variety. I liked that kind of
terrain but I would work my way down using the terrain and turning of
alot of that stuff. That was snowboard like in it's very few turns
aspect. But did demonstrate the skiing speed superiority that's the
subject.
