Would anyone with experience using a Kuzmin Sickle share how the base
comes out when this cutting tool. For example does the base come out
with what the best base peelers call a mirror smooth finish. Never had
any luck with a brand new Swix scraper getting a peel. It always made
linear like gouges in the base.

The base comes out black but not shiny/mirror black.

What I'd like to now from Kuzmin is if polishing is relevant or not.
And, if yes, what king of polishing : The entire industry rotary
polishing tools have a vertical axis and it sounds better than common
ski rotary brush to actually remove hairs and bristles.

ski polishing tools are derived from wax removing tools and, IMHO, are
not optimal at polishing.
