You lost me here... What does Devil's Head have to do with
Kirgyzstan. I ask because I skied Devil's when I lived in MIlwaukee
(only about 1.5 hours from Milwaukee!). Nice area.

Yeah, yeah, I know. I opened a link to ski Kirgyzstan. It wasn't
much of a page except that it had an ad for Devil's Head and said
that it was 3 hours from Chicago, which is true. The problem is
the link was on the Kirgyzstan and just under a picture of a ski
area in Kirgyzstan, so I put 2 and 2 together and came up with
seventeen.

If you ever hit Cascade, how would you compare them?

Maybe Devil's Head and Ski Kirgyzstan are sister resorts? You buy a
pass for Devil's Head, you can ski free when at Kirgyzstan. And visa-
versa of course.

Cascade had the Mogul Monster (fun), but was pretty flat up top. So,
their longer runs really are not that long if you consider the flat
top section.

Devil's Head has long runs (for the mid west that is), with more
consistent pitch from top to bottom. It's been about 15 years since I
skied either - so, things may have changed. I do know (from when I
lived in MN and would drive to Milwaukee past Cascade on I-94) that
Cascade has added some runs - so, maybe those are better (more
consistent pitch).

If I had to choose - I think I'd try Devil's Head over Cascade.

It would be fun to visit both some day for old times sake.
