10 responses to my "SnowboardersOnly" Post. Pretty good we think !

Glad to open up a little discussion as a preface to a real-live
"Snowboarders Only" Group Discussion Page...... and to think it all
began with you Boarders out there.

For many years we have by-passed the 5-7 yr old kids ski instruction and
get them on boards ASAP once we're sure they're properly padded and
dressed.
No foolin' around with either two skis or two poles. "Just two or four
less things for the kids to worry about". We demonstrate what it looks
like and then stand 'em up, gently push 'em off, get out of the way and
pick 'em up.
Most love it and are ready to go the next morning.

Look somewhere else. Its much easier to just get along.

Both sports benefit each other. If it wasn't for skiing, we wouldn't
have all these great resorts to play in. If it wasn't for
snowboarding, there wouldn't be shaped skis, twin tips, and terrain
parks. Remember the days when you used to get in trouble for jumping
in resorts? Heck, now they build jumps for you!

Seriously, whatever your agenda is, take it somewhere else. There is
enough bitching about snowboards on the rec.skiing forum, we don't need
to do the same thing here.

If you doubt this, go there and do some reading. This forum is a much better
place as it is.

Maybe you haven't noticed, but most of the people posting in
this group are snowboarders. If you are starting a new forum
post your link, but please no more anti-ski trolls. Whether
we here love them or hate them we try not to waste a lot of
our time talking about them and a subject that will never have
a resolution.
