With the race right around the corner, what is being kicked around for wax
ideas? Looks like the forecast is a looking a bit cooler now.

Oops, I plugged my own zip code into the weather site. Still looking at
highs around 30 in the Cities.

Moly, HF wax, and powder. It hasn't snowed in a month, the course is
in town, so the snow is dirty. It probably doesn't matter much what HF
or powder, since the snow is old as hell. I'd expect the snow to be
abrasive, so I wouldn't go too soft. If it snows overnight, then skip
my thoughts.

I'm going with LF6, if its going to be cold at the start (10)skipping
a top coat;
otherwise putting jetstream moly over it.

But you should probably listen to Jay, he always has fast skis

Here's a NWS point graph and a corresponding aeriel/topo for the
coordinates used. It helps to know that the basin of the park, around
the start area, is usually colder and presumably more humid than other
parts of the park and course.
