Awh ****! I was hoping that you played
bagpipes. I want someone to play bagpipes
at my funeral.

You must be kidding. You would be already dead, and you want to
torture your mourners. I hunt down bagpipers, and kill them for
sport.

This led me to think of an interesting dilemma. Last week I found a
trumpet in a second-hand store, and when I polished it up, it turned
out to be quite valuable.

If I were to find a set of bagpipes, would I sell it for profit? Or
burn it, so nobody could ever play it?

IIRC, you claimed he was dead YEARS ago. What kind of warrior lies
about his own father's passing? Jeez...

I never said he was dead. He lives in Florida. He fought in WW2
against the Japanese. He has thirteen battle ribbons, and a purple
heart. His name will live forever. I come from a long line of mighty
warriors.

Well, after catching up on what has been happening here while I was
gone I was unable to find anything about the VTSkier, LAL, Itchy
lovefest. So how did it go? Was there a big group hug? Did LAL dump
his poles and edges and become a follwer of the church of TieCheese
Flatboarding? Inquiring minds want to know....

I heard there was an Arabic insult: "Father of none and son of hundreds." NTTAWWT.

Wind-player joke:

Q: Which is better, a violin or a viola?
A: A viola. It burns longer.

Cut and paste doesn't work on that site, dammit. You should see that

violin and viola are string instruments, not winds.

BTW the best use of a guitar is smashing it at the end of the night.

When your opponents keep silence like this, you know something heavy
must have happened. Maybe they are delicately trying to defuse a
bombshell for you gappers--you gappers really suck.

The information has been sketchy thus far. I wasn't there, so all I
know is what I read on the intertubes. Maybe one of the three will
weigh in with a TR.

I have played my hands; the last report were saying that we were
having fun checking each other out in a blizzard, or a blizzard-like
snowstorm if you want to be technical. How do you gappers read?

Bzzzzt... wrong. Ten years ago there was a lot of whining about
"stolen lift tickets" and "taking it into real life" ... and it hasn't
stopped since. ;-)

Nine years and eight months ago, the whining started. The
disagreement coincided with the start of silly season.

Ten years ago, it was still the constant drone of "Hey!
That's off-topic! Shut up! No. You can't make me. Would
the two of you please shut up? Hey who made you mr.
internet policeman!..."
