Wed'ze bindings experience
Hi all, Just to share my experience: I've bought a pair of Wed'ze FR9 bindings at Declathon. It are the stiffest bindings they have. I've mounted them on a Nitro Magnum board, replacing a pair of no-name's which were in for replacement (wear). Although I only used them in an indoor skiing hall, I'm pretty happy with them. They fit very well and give a good feel of what is happening on the snow. Especially with a backside carve turn (a common weak point), they feel great. Maybe the only downside is the toe strap. It might need some adjustment to fit me better. Quality looks OK. Baseplate is aluminium, stiff and durable. The FR9 binding is going to disappear, so they are now selling them out. I just paid 60 euro for it and in my opinion, it is a good binding. http://www.wedze.com/EN/rn-x-9-binding-24171948/ (as you see, everything is prepared for it's follow up, the RnX 9) -- Bas. |
