Default January snow

Hi. I decided to take January off, to go looking for the best snow in
the world (telemarking).

Anyone have ideas to where start looking?

Thanks in advance

Really? Never been to Deer Valley, but went to Vail this winter, the
slopes were rather icy.

Do you know when Deer Valley and Vail usually open for the season??

I trust you on that. Went to Whistler and Cypress last season, got
dumped on both places, truely amazing. Do you have any other tips
elsewhere in the state?

True that! Was there (JH) this spring, was a little warm, but
completely amazing! Any idea of when they open?

Ever tried your "neighbour state" Alaska??
