Ooohh, that's so scary... yet cool It's like when Champion Leagues
of Quake (CLQ) came out. For those of you who don't know, CLQ appeared suddenly like in 1999 and started tracking people playing online games like Quake, it would keep track of how long you played and you weighted average "frag rate" (i.e. the rate as which you could defeat your opponents) and would automatically rank your place in the WORLD... now that was a cool thing... of course, it would also embarrassingly tell you how many minutes you were playing a week. I admit I was up there in both categories --arvin Iain D wrote in message .. . I dunno if everyone's see this but if not take a look at: http://netscan.research.microsoft.co...earchdate=2003 Scroll to the bottom to see the most prolific posters (no prizes for guessing ;-) Iain IainD at ukme dot me dot uk |

Then I got worried, because if I added the total for my current ID with the total from my previous ID, then I'm only a few posts behind. Luckily I then saw Mike uses/used 2 IDs as well. Suprised you didn't make it to the list Iain. Cornelis PS: i've rediscovered QW, now there's a opengl version that is actually playable (www.fuhquake.net). Servers are getting pretty thin though (Netherlands has one, and in the scandic countries there's a few) |

Not sure if I'm suppose to be proud or embarrassed about that fact. Too bad it's no longer operational.. Yea... well I left the game back in 2000, but it was kind of cool to be able to look up my player name and see my old stats.
