Ski swap annoucement in Central New York

This information may be of interest to those of you who are looking
for bargains for the upcoming season and who lives within driving
distance to Central New York. It's 3+ hours North from cities such as
NYC and Philadelphia. The following is an announcement/ad for this
year's annual Swap Sale at Greek Peak. This sale is supposed to be one
of the biggest not-for-profit fundraising sale in the country.

Now that fall is upon us, it is almost time for Greek Peak's big
Annual Ski Swap Sale, brought to you by Greek Peak Ski Club! Whether
you're buying or selling, please mark your calendar...

This year's ski swap is held during the last weekend in October (10/30
& 31 - Halloween weekend) and the first weekend in November (11/6 &
7). The Swap shop features a large inventory of skis, snowboards,
clothing and other sporting goods, placed for sale both by area ski
shops and by individuals.

The ski swap is the ski club's biggest and primary fund raiser. All
proceeds from this sale goes directly toward helping to keep the
children's coaching fees at a reasonable rate. Greek Peak Ski Club is
an independent not-for-profit alpine ski camp/development/coaching
organization."
