Default Arbor ...Glissade Experiences?

Sup Y'all,

I'm finally in the market for a new stick and I have my sights on and
Arbor A-Frame 170 or Glissade Big Gun 175 or Brosif 168. I have read
many reviews praising the Arbor but most were in some way connected to
Arbor or the sale of the board. And have only found a couple reviews on
the Glissades... So I'm looking for anyone's input regarding the
A-frame, S-type, or Woodie and/or the Glissades...good, bad, or
whatever. I generally ride the steeps, and Pow when it is available,
like to carve and hit big table tops on occasion...not too much in the
park and halfpipe only if I made a wrong turn .
Thanks
J

Hello J,

I demo’d a Arbor 161 A-frame. I weight 165lbs.

The first thing that struck me was how light it was. Compared to my
other boards, this thing was light on the foot, espeecially while riding
the lift. It is nice and stiff, which is my preference, and you can push
it hard on an edge. But it was jittery in a straight line, removing some
confidence from me as I was squaring up to take a kicker.

Overall I liked the board, and it is very cool looking! I personally
would detune the front edges a bit or maybe bevel the edges to a 1/1.

Regards,

Chris

P.S. A 170 would be large for me, just a FYI.
