Who's gained the most weight since the American Birkebeiner. I'm up 6
pounds. I think Bill Stuber added about 8. FrontRunner, Nordic Norm,
Mike Wynn, Zach, Skinnyski, Schmo, Marsh, May, Wenner, Revyakin,
Salzberg, Markowitz, Birkebeiner D'Arienzo, Goldenfeld, Nathan, Matt
Liebsch, Dell Todd? Class? Anyone?

So far, you're ahead of me, Jay. I'm about the same, give or take a
couple of pounds.

I'm actually down 2, which is about 6 better than last year. Last year,
I hit my season low Birkie weekend and gained about 8, which I paid for
all paddling season. Hopefully by June I'll be down a couple more.

I'm up about 5 Jay but it's all in the last 2 or 3 weeks! I was light at the
Birkie, 156 just before we left home for the lovely drive to Seeley,... but
I would imagine a week straight of 3 meals a day at The Sawmill had me up a
few pounds by race morning! 161 now and can feel my gut hit my thighs when
in the drops on the road bike! For me 5 lbs variation is a lot. I'm usually
pinned at 158 year round.

I was up 6 pounds or so, but then a bout of food poisoning brought me back
down. Not a recommended weight loss technique, although with some slick
internet marketing I could probably retire.

Jesus Christ, do you people blow over in the wind? Have you ever seen
the inside of a weight room? Just kidding. 190 "ish" and holding
steady since Birkie (both of them).

Well not since the Birkie, but since the snow started to fly last winter
I've crept up. Less training and medication for headaches largely
responsible. But I just stopped the meds, and have begun to train after two
months "off". ("Off" meaning nothing logged, and even less structure, goals,
rhyme or reason than usual.)

BTW, if this is a contest I won. What does the winner get?

Okay, as of yesterday, 4-17-04, I hit 8 pounds over my Birkie weight.
I think it hurt me in the road race I did so it's time to drop the
junk food and get serious again...
