Swix Liquid Gliders
Does anyone have any feedback on the new crop of the swix liquid
gliders. (Comes in three flavors for cold, moderate, warm) They appear to be new this year, though I've seen reference to them in the past. Thanks in advance, Jon |

Thanks in advance, Jon Not sure about the new ones, but the Swix EasyWax liquid glider worked alright for recreational use last season. I did find, however, that they didn't last overly long - after a few km's glide started going downhill (but still better than no waxing at all). Chris |

I seem to remember that the Swix pure flouro liquids didn't come out last year, but the year before. Swix has taken a much different approach on recommended uses for the liquid than another company. They believe (the last I heard) that the powders and solids are the fluoro of choice for medium and long races, and the liquid should be used an an overlay of the solid just to make sure the ski has been completed covered with fluoro. I think they say you can use just the liquid for races up to 10 km. Of course things get complicated since they have out other liquid gliders and now liquid kickers. Jay W |

Swix Liquid Gliders
Check out a recent article on nordicskiracer.com on how to use the
high-zoot Swix liquids, from Swix racing. Bjorn is correct, the article just gives the techie details. Randy Bjorn A.
