Snow
Seattle TV showed a cam shot from Crystal this evening. Enough snow on
the ground that you could see it. I hope that's a sign of what's to come, especially for Washington State Ski areas after last years lack of snow. Jack |

Still amazed by last season and the lack of snow in so many places. -- ant |

There's definitely snow on the Tetons today. It looked this morning
like the snow level was around 7,500 feet. Winter's on the way. |

This evening Seattle TV showed what they said was 10" s of snow on the ground in Fernie, BC. In town already. Jack |

Hi, Klaus.
It *has* been a long time. I'm excusing you for not coming up here to ski last winter (since you probably couldn't even get out of the driveway because of so much snow). However - this winter you've got to come up to visit. The mountains here were covered with snow down almost to the valley floor yesterday morning and it's snowing up high again today. Ours will melt too, but it's nice to know mother nature remembers how to make it snow. We're headed to Slovenia a week from tomorrow. We'll spend two weeks walking, climbing, sightseeing, and - from everything I've heard - consuming mass quantities of slivovitz. We're all excited. See you this winter. Bob |
