Martin Thornquist wrote: [ Dingus Milktoast ] Cute, those rsa folks need RESERVATIONS to go skiing. No wonder they plan ahead. This depends on the scale of the trip. Some people are in the unfortunate situation of having to plan ahead to be able to take a week off work for skiing. Also there's plane and hotel for that trip to somewhere other than the usual driving distance places. Looks like it's going to be Serre Chevalier this year! I wanted to do a month long ski trip to Europe Jan/Feb. 2005. I stayed home to work on systems software issues for going back to the Moon and Mars. I soldiered on. 2006 after I left that I asked for the month off. No Europe trip this year. I see the Europeans here. They want the excuse to visit the Silicon Valley. Building snowcaves are so fun. When I was dumbass freshman I drove up into Logan Canyon with some similar minded buddies. We found a LOADED Northeast facing slope. And dug this nice cave just big enough to fit three guys and a massive J. Five minutes after lighting the stupid thing, I noticed the celing started to sink down (go figure) and I was crawling outta there for some oxygen. Good times... |
