Miller Softs
Scored a pair of these early 70s sweet things, softly glowing a glorious
orange, from the darkest of back rooms - good shape, lots of base. I need to mount them with some decent bindings and I'll finally be able to try some genuine Miller Softs, which I've been wanting to try for decades. You may now applaud my good luck. |

Damn man...that rocks... I hope you will pay them proper homage and leave the heel piece where it belongs...in the box.... Walt the Legend skis them religiously. He has three pairs, some still in the plastic. He's saving them for later, when he wears out the ones he's using. He's 77. And skis over 120 days each year, all backcountry, all walking. And he uses 3 pins. He's my hero. Some day, I'll get as many days as he does, probably after he has reached room temperature. And maybe on his skis. -klaus |

You already told me about these things, time for a skiing review. I would think that you would need Miller bindings or at least Spademans to get the proper ambiance of the skis. I used to have a lot of Almat binding in my garage. Nobody wanted them so went as scrap metal. Oh, and maybe a pair of Hanson or Scott boots. My Hansons lasted me into the 90's (with new liners). I do have these day-glo ski poles too. VtSkier ;-} |

I replied elsewhere, hope you get to see it. VtSkier ;-o |
