Default New Polarized Sunglasses!!

Hi All,
I am now a seller rep for Habervison sunglasses. If you would, please check
out the website www.habervision.com There are glasses of many different
styles. If you use my code you will get 50% off the retail price. The owner,
Steve Haber developed the Boll'e brand of sunglasses and goggles in the
early eighties. After taking his company public in 1995, he later sold his
interests to pursue his lifelong passions: fishing, skiing and golf. In
early 2005 Steve saw the need for an eyewear company devoted to the
polarized segment, and decided it was time to get back into business. Please
check out the website! If you would like a pair, just use my code in the
"Affinity Code Box on The Website" My code is:TW7126K
Thank you

Quite so.

I was about to flame Chico to death, pointing out that commercial
posts are not allowed in this newsgroup. But then I paused, and
thought I'd better check the charter myself first. And...I couldn't
find it!

So where is our charter?

I'm not sure there is one, if it exists I've not seen it. I think in
the past the group tends to tollerate one advert per season from a
supplier, so long as it is relevant and to the point. After that it's
spam unless it's a reply to a topic and the product is relevant [1].
The exception is adding advertising to footers which, by tradition,
seems to be fine so long as the posts are relevant (and not just an
excuse to display the footer).

Steve

[1] E.g. a few people rent out apartments in the Alps and it seems
reasonable to me that they be allowed to reply in topics requesting
info on accomodation.
