Default ThanksGiving skiing in Mammoth is it possilble ?

Hello everyone,
I know they make snow in the main lodge but is it possible to ski there at
that time ?

Thanks for your help.

I would only count on the runs with snowmaking (10% ?).
Unless you get a big storm.

1977/1978 was one such such hydrologic season.
Great Thanksgiving for skiing.
Over all an above average snow year.
And I was doing an ice climb in the same region only a few days before
talk about dry.

They have a few runs and some of the terrain park open above the main lodge, &
probably a top to bottom run. There's always a good possibility in the Sierras
that an early storm could come through and open up more terrain. But I sure
wouldn't make plans expecting that. And you can also count on the fact that
even though only a small portion of the mountain may be open, you won't be
getting any deep discounts on lift tickets.
