FA: classic rollerskis on ebay -- sweet!
I just found some garage sale 3-wheel rollerskis. Probably pretty old
but in great shape. Wood shafts. Dover 3-pin bindings. Front clutches----feel strong and tight to me. I haven't skied on them, though. Item #320110108907. --JP outyourbackdoor.com |

Oh yeah, Road Skis. I used to train on these way back when. Nice
collectors item. I do remember, however, that they had this problem in that the front wheel would lock up if it got wet - and you'd end up on your face on the pavement. The bearing isn't sealed and so water would get in etc,...made for an interesting workout when it was raining..... bt |

I roll skied on these back in 1978... never had the clutch issue, but one time going around a corner the outside rear wheel (wheel w/ tire!) went rolling away from me!!! Otherwise- I enjoyed skiing many many miles on those things Randy Wint |
