Default Méribel

Hi there,

Any first hand reports of current conditions in Méribel and also 3 Vallées
as a whole ? Looks as though I may have found a good deal for 2nd-9th April
'05.

Looks mild in Meribel and the south facing slopes seem to be suffering...

that said have a look at the webcams here for a hint of what its like...
still plenty of the white stuff around 3V.

and here for the weather....

Above 2200m looks like the place to be.... slushy and wet lower down.

All the best,

Edi

British Alpine Senior Championships finished there today. Conditions are
pretty bad - it's been raining up to well above Mottaret. Freeze levels
dropping a little this weekend, but it's still likely to rain up to 500m
above Meribel. Reasonable snow depths at altitude. A cold snap forecast
for the end of next week... The British Children's Championships are
scheduled to take place on the 2nd/3rd April in Meribel, but no one's
too confident they'll be able to go ahead - the cover at resort level is
very poor.
