Wood skis from Sweden
Some traditionalists may be interested in these birch skis made in
Sweden. Also their "EPOK" binding can be used with normal hiking boots. In English even! : http://www.tegsnas.com/eng1.html PS I've even seen a picture of a guy using the EPOK binding with hiking boot on free-heel ice skates: http://www.sjuskaret.nu/asp-gallery/images/PS2.jpg -- David Dermott , Wolfville Ridge, Nova Scotia, Canada http://www.dermott.ca//ice07/icefotos.html (new ice season) |

David,
Do you have any idea what these skis and binding come out to cost in US dollars. It's hard to tell if they ship to the US. I couldn't see anything about shipping to US. A price estimate is about $300 for skis and $70 for binding. The r.s.n expert would be Greg Fangel: http://www.woodenskis.com/ -- David Dermott , Wolfville Ridge, Nova Scotia, Canada http://www.dermott.ca/ski/index.html |
