Television is easy. If that's not what you want to say, then don't
****ing say that. Simple.

According to John Perry Barlow, "Jeff Davis is a truly gifted trouble-maker."

Excuse he was sandbagged. It is like accounting what number do you want
it to equal?
You spend an excessive amount of time to give the news reporter your
version. What do you get with editing you look like your the worst
despot from some small african regime.
It started out as a fluff piece and they turned it into a propaganda
film made by Leni Riefentahl. We must get rid of the rats that are over
running the world!

Are you saying the CBS invented the exploding Pinto?

No, I got Dateline and 60 Minutes mixed up. Dateline rigged a gas tank on

a
GM pickup.

And you also got GM and FOrd mixed up.

60 Minutes rigged the transmission on an Audi 5000 to illustrate
an unintended acceleration problem after they couldn't actually get the

car
do it.

OK, so you got GM and Ford and Audi and Dateline and 60 Minutes and NBC and
CBS mixed up.

Isn't this thread about the dangers of drinking while, ummmm, recreating?

This reninds me of a circa 1980's joke. Where's the most dangerous
place to drive?

A: Behind a Pinto, in front of an Audi, and next to a Samurai.

I actually bought one of these shortly after the Consumer Reports
article when prices went wayyy down. Best little 4x4 I ever owned.
Small, not strong on the freeway but it could climb telephone poles.
I'm still keeping my eyes open for a clean one so I can do some
off-road mods.

These blokes service my Suzuki, and I've seen most of these monsters "in the
metal". We call them sierras.

Raising the center of gravity? Yeah, that'll help.

Those mods also widen the track. Suzuki rollover claims were highly
exaggerated. No worse than your typical Jeep CJ.

Which really isn't saying much.
My son rolled a Geo Tracker, the first generation after
the Samurai. A former employer's son was killed in a
Jeep CJ roll over.

Tall, narrow, short wheelbase = easy roll over.

Suzuki Samurai rollover claims were not exaggerated. They were as bad as a
Jeep CJ.

i'dn dat whut I sed?

The real question here is, what would a hung-over Bode Miller do behind
the wheel of a reconfigured Suzuki Samurai the morning after winning the
overall World Cup?

(and one hopes the answer is: abandon the sorry POS and get a real vehicle)

The Geo Tracker is a Suzuki Vitara, and it's not narrow at all. It's almost
square, in fact. Gives it horrible axle hop, due to short wheel base and
tight suspension, but it's not particularly tall and it sure ain't narrow.

They will go over though if you hit a bump at high speed. That's the axle
hop.
There's a pic on that site of someone jumping a vitara at a beach. It's
getting some good air.
