Don't get me started on Jane Fonda but her best movie was Cat Ballou.

*Every day. *All day. *You jealous?

Nope. *I tend to throw up after small amounts.

Drinking tends to throw off your balance. *The brain takes signals
from parts of your inner ears to provide balance.

I also throw up after anaesthesia, until the last time -- the
anaesthesiologist devised a knockout scheme that did NOT keep me barfing
and crying for hours after I woke up. *OTOH, the surgery fixed what was
wrong, but created what's probably a worse thing.

*Don't bother. *Can't you get laser surgery?

Sure, but I don't trust it. *My faith in the medical system has been
seriously eroded in the last decade or so, especially for voluntary
surgery. *Theory has it that all they have to do is make 'relaxing'
incisions in the cornea. *I might try it with my left eye, which is
there pretty much only for balance, but not until I need cataract
surgery, if ever. *And then there's the 2+D difference between my eyes...

I have several friends who have had laser surgery. *They love it. *One
friend is a welder so his insurance paid for it. *He thinks it's the
best thing he ever did.

I know people like that too, one of whom had her eye done in Bogota at
least 10 years ago when the doc (apparently more advanced than US docs)
was arranging lasik flights from the US for prospective patients. *Other
people are happy with a LOT of things I have problems with.

*I plan on having it done when my vision gets too bad.

I don't think your corneas get worse with time, just the lens which
either clouds (cataract) or becomes stiffer, meaning you can't
accommodate the way you used to and your vision gets worse. *My eyes are
something like +3 and +5 with 2D of astigmatism at a nearly vertical
angle, which is why my contacts refuse to stay in place. *This didn't
bother me until I started needing reading glasses at maybe 38. * If
you're better than that, go for it!

*You really should get your hearing checked.

Perhaps, since you keep making the same suggestion over and over in
spite of my objections, you should have your vision checked.

This is the last I shall mention it.

Excellent, the hounds will stay in their kennel.

There was a murder right next door to me. *I told the cop who did it,
he interviewed the neighbors, we all said that her girlfriend killed
her. *He wrote it up as a suicide. *All cops are stupid. *All cop
shows are stupid. *Except for Reno 911. *That's what real cops are
like.

The Wire was very good. *I think cops should be drafted -- the ones who
want the job probably shouldn't have it. *Is Dexter a cop show?

Holy ****. Pillow talk between Dickless Horvie and Bev ****ley. Get
a ****ing room, assholes. Come to think of it, you do have a room.
