That's right. From Montreux over Zweisimmen to Lenk. There are a
couple of villages Gstaad is only the best known. Checkout also
Saanen, Schönried and Saanenmöser. From Lenk you can Ski to Adelboden.
For The village Les Diablerts you have to change the train at Aigle.
Also ist there a bus till Gstaad. You got access to the Ski-Aera
Villar/Gryon or with the bus to Glacier des Diablerets(Cole du
Pillon).

Depend how long you will travel. Check out Saas Fee, Zermatt and
Aletsch.

Verbier looks obvious, but we've been there a few times and would like
to try somewhere new.

You might want to try Villars sur Aigle. It's about 45 mins drive
from Lausanne (drive up the motorway in the direction of Canton Valais
and turn off at Aigle). The village is pretty small and quiet but the
ski area is really, really beautiful. There are a lot of varied runs
and you can go up to the Les Diablerets glacier too.

I've emailed them. "Full" is probably an over-statement, but there
isn't anything available that satisfies:

- twin or double room with en suite facilities
- in a village that has both a railway station and a ski lift (so
there's a hotel in Val d'Illiez for example, but that is a long way
from any ski lifts)
