It's snowing on Cape Cod.
There'll prabably not be enough to support skiis, but it's our first
snow of the season. I see a rather good xc-ski season ahead. Big wet flakes just like one of those shake'm jars. |

Unfortunately, we have not accumulated much and the high winds Friday nite blew a lot of it away. We might have 2" on the ground; just enough for the snow plows to wake me up this morning! - Bob |

It's a start of the winter season, however. I see snow out on my usual
track this morning. highpeaksnordic wrote: snowyguy wrote: There'll prabably not be enough to support skiis Here in Lake Placid, NY, it has been snowing for most of the weekend. "Big wet flakes..."
Yep, that's you, Brucie. A big, wet, flake. snowyguy wrote: It's a start of the winter season, however. Thats wonderful news. Hopefully Europe will be next. In Scotland we dont NEED snow at present but we do need very cold weather to cool the ground down so that IF we get any snow it will settle. Where I live in North England (warmed by the Gulf Stream flowing north up the Irish Sea) we have spring flowers already. Snowdrops in flower and new Crocus stems breaking ground round my Nerines which are still in Autumn bloom. And its the first week in December. The weather pattern really has gone mad this season. |
