Serious gear mavens might hot wax and scrape several times, or change the base/side bevel angles, or various other forms of foreplay. But none of this is really necessary. -- //-Walt // // The Volkl Conspiracy |

Only a good guess,, take them to a good shop and have the bindings adjusted
for your requirements,, and have some wax applied...can't think of anything else you might need, I have the same situation and will do the same " |

Are your skis new to you (i.e. used) or new to the world (i.e. factory prepped.) Obviously different advice would be proffered. |

I'd at least check 'em out to make sure that they're true and don't need some work (even if you're not a serious gear maven, a railed ski will ruin your fun fast). And I personally would wax 'em at least once because it just ain't that hard, and might be a Real Good Idea depending on conditions. -- :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: :::::::::::::::::::::::: Mary Malmros Some days you're the windshield, Other days you're the bug. |
