What? Rentals?!? You're going to choose an area based on the cost and
price of board rentals? If that's what you're asking, that's crazy! Choose the better mountain and you can always find a rental that suits your needs. To help out a little (and not just chastise you before I owned equipment I rented in Crested Butte. Not at the base area but at one of the ski shops in town. We had great equipment, comfortable boots, nothing about it felt like rental gear. Don't know the name or if they're still there, but your better options are usually local shops over what the resort has. Take that FWIW and have a great trip! |
