Default Meribel/3V 27th March - April 10th?

Anyone around during this fortnight? Come and cheer on the
children/juniors at the British Land Junior and Children Championships
in Meribel... slalom on Sunday 4th, GS Monday 5th, Super G Tuesday
6th.... followed by the Junior Champs over the next three days.

And if you're in Meribel the previous week (from the 27th) you'll be
able to see the Seniors, including of course Chemmy Allcott, Finlay
Mickel, and the Baxter brothers....

I should be there week two (Sun-Tues), but the races clash with the
'Scara', a big international race in Val d'Isère. Will be between both.

I've been trying in vain to catch up with Chemmy's news, but all I
managed to get out of Emma[1] the other week was that she was injured,
presumably at Are four weeks ago. Anyone know the extent and
prognosis?

[1] Carrick-Anderson. Not deliberately namedropping, I was doing a
course with Phil Smith at the time.

From chemmyalcott.co.uk there is some info on the message board:

Get well soon after your crash in Are. Keep your chin up you will make it
big up to the top soon i'm sure with your determination. At least you are
doing something you love and keeping us entertained on C4. Nice interview
from the hospital. See you soon.

regards,

Sounds like it must have been serious then. I'll try emailing her and
see if she's online at all.
