Default Alpine Squaw interconnect?

This is fascinating. Seems more and more people are throwing up
chairlifts on private property..

I'd like to be one of this guys 25 invited ski friends.

Caldwell has been getting the screw from Cushing and Alpine's new owners
for years. This chair is a stopgap. (BTW, his wife Sue has worked the
special ticket window at Alpine for decades - you probably know her and
don't even realize.) I've always thought he should just call the sheriff
and have Squaw run out of his property (which include the top of KT-22)
until Cushing plays fair.

This article is completely mis-leading, making Cushing sound reasonable,
which he isn't and never has been.
