Default Are hipsters making their own skis now?

I guess if you really want to be authentic you should hand carve skis and poles and lash them to your limbs with animal tendons.

Which reminds me, dumb****. Damn near every ski nowadays has a wooden core. Idiot. And hipsters are making their own skis, at least twenty hipster shops and low volume manufacturers. Stupido.


I did not know that. I do remember discussions of why skis went "dead" back when I lived in CO. You should go work for a ski company, you seem very knowledgeable.
