Hi MB

http://telemark.iuveno-net.de/tf/mag...ic_harscheisen

My German is a bit weak, so I can't really figure out for sure
how these are attached to the skis/bindings. Simply using the
pins of 3 pin and held in place by the boot toe?

I remember there was a method also simply using them without the pins
The most urgent word here is "was". It looks like the producer 'crazy
telemark' ("http://www.telemarkshop.ch/ho_home.asp") did stop the
producution two years ago. The link from Uli shows a report test from
february 2002.

One had the Dynafit TLT binding with the crampon Uli
suggested, and which is very similar to the B&D. The fixing
of the crampon broke after 20 meters in this terrain.

It seems there's a problem with Dynafit crampons:

This has been addressed in the newer version of the Comfort- the slot used
to just be plastic, and could quite easily snap off. It is now reinforced
with a metal plate. I haven't actually mounted mine yet (just got them, and
will have to wait for new skis next year) so I can't actually say whether
the fix achieves the goal, but it does look plenty strong enough.
