AOL. Your good advice will be missed here - come back soon. I echo that. It is really sad to here that a fellow biker and skier has been hurt and I really hope he can make it back for the winter season. |

Doesn't it just make you think that most of us here live life on the edge? You sort of appreciate it more, and maybe we'll all take fewer risks this coming season now. After all, this could equally have been a skiing accident. Adrian -- Adrian Shaw ais@ Adran Cyfrifiadureg, Prifysgol Cymru, aber. It is really sad to here that a fellow biker and skier has been hurt and I really hope he can make it back for the winter season. I doubt if he will. It is likely to be at least 6 months before the doctors let him do anything that could put a strain on his back. I have had two relatives who have broken backs (a brother at neck level playing rugby, and a daughter crushed two lower lumbar vertebrae on a Sealed Knot battlefield). Both recovered, but it was well over 6 months before they were doing serious physical activity - or in the case of my daughter, doing anything much at all without her exoskeleton back brace on. -- Alex Heney, Global Villager Programming is an art form that fights back.
