Anyone ridden a Palmer crown? which board next question?
I'm in the market for a new 'all mountain' type board and the Crown
seems to be getting great write ups from the people selling them but I can't find any reviews from normal punters. Has any one ridden this board and if so how might it compare with the two boards that I am familiar with which are the Donek incline which I learnt on, have had for 3-4 years and is pretty stiff, and my brothers Burton Custom which seems a lot more light and flexible and makes me feel way more competant.. any one got any advice on what to buy ?? Currently in the line up Palmer Crown Burton Custom X Nitro Shogun Bearing in mind that 1. I like to carve and do off piste. 2. Money is not a consideration here however durability probably is. 3. I want to have fun, going fast and slow. 4. I have no style with the jumps but wouldn't mind being able to do a 180 off a natural hit at some time in the future. Any help greatly appreciated (especially in how to the 180's - do you start by going fakie??) Cheers, Happy new year all Nick. |

IMHO you've already got the right board - the Donek. |

The Palmer Honeypro would be closer to a Burton Custom. My assumption is
the Crown would be a stiffish board. "Nick" wrote in message om...
