HeliSki in Europe: where is cheaper (or better)?

I'd be thankful if anyone can give advice (or better yet - can share
first-hand experience) on:
WHERE to heliski in Europe at affordable price with decent service and nice
slopes?

I didn't do extensive search in internet, because information of this sort
may be not so realiable. Who knows how highly those heliski guys can extol
quality of their services and greatness of slopes?

I heard that Italian (among few remaining in the Alps) are the cheapest, but
they seem to have weak reputaion (their helicopters crash, flight service is
not so regular, etc.)

Any positive experiences? - Info? - Recommendations?

Thanks!

Though I have no first hand experience I have heard that the Elbrus
region offers good heliskiing at the lowest possible price and also that
their helicopters are also a bit unreliable.

Can't comment on costs, but I do know that heli options are offered by Les
Arcs - there's a transfer point across the border to Italy, etc. (where it's
legal, unlike France) from between La Rosière and Sainte-Foy Tarentaise.

No doubt someone from this n/g and based locally will come in on this...

I must have done around 5~6 drops around the Chamonix area (always
into Italy or Suisse, of course) in the alps, but all have been booked
through local guides. Using a guide is the best option as he will
know the conditions, and whether it's actually worth spending your
money.

I recently found a nice looking web site with a USA
focus with detailed historical snow records and
various other articles including quite a bit on heliskiing
and the costs/benefits of various locations and methods.

I though it very interesting. I think I have the link at home
and will pot it if I have. I think the author was a full time ski
writer.

I just remember how it happened in cheerful French comedy of 70-ties
"Les Bronzes font du skis", where skiers asked local dude to organize one
flight+drop from helicopter.
They skied down afterwards but got lost, because guide couldn't find the way
into the valley.

'Les Bronzés font du ski' is certainly a cult French film - must have
seen it about 10 times - absolutely hilarious. Not sure it was ever
translated in English though. Does anyone else apart from N think it's
good or is it me being French?
The off-piste bit was shot in Val d'Isere.
