If you're flying from Toulouse airport...

And you have access to the business lounge (called La Croix du Sud)....

....don't assume that because your flight is boarding, you can actually
board.

You see, the lounge is actually accessible through the domestic flights
part, and if you go through passport control, you have to go back to it.
Or go straight into it without going through passport control at all.

And *then*, when you leave to board, you may find that the airport
copper has knocked off, leaving nobody to do the passport check, and the
airport staff still there will refuse to let you through.

This will lead to a certain amount of panic as you see the last
passengers file on board, and British Airways close the gate, while the
airport staff try and find a policeman.

Protesting that your luggage has been loaded cuts no ice, because they
will tell you that it will have to be unloaded.....

The only amusing thing is listening to the absentee copper, when he
finally is hustled to his post, being given a bollocking for deserting
it.

Never been so close to missing a flight in my life.....
