Default Another first place for us

.....no, not a first place finish, but first in the standings, as Lindsey
Kildow took over top spot in the women's downhill rankings. See
http://www.skiracing.com/news/news_d...hp/2080/ALPINE. Women's
speed team showing good depth, did well on the course that will be used
for both this year's Worlds and next year's Olympics.

On the downside, Bryon Friedman, who was having a very nice season
indeed, broke his leg at Chamonix and will be out for the rest of the
season. http://www.skiracing.com/news/news_d...hp/2079/ALPINE.

Everybody knows that Bode Miller is leading the men's individual
standings, but in the disciplines, it's almost comical: he's first in DH
and SG, second in GS (Thomas Grandi, of all people, is leading GS), and
fifth in slalom, which is more or less a knife fight in a phone booth
with all the usual suspects.
