Maine Adaptive Sports and Recreation is having a new event for blind/visually-impaired cross-country skiers, February 7-11, 2016. This adds to their current program for blind alpine skiers, NEVI (New England Visually Impaired) Fest, which they've had for several years. The new "Nordic NEVI Fest" event includes skiing to, and staying overnight, at one of the huts on the Maine Hut Trail; as well as skiing on groomed trails at the Sugarloaf XC center.
