Default Snow Summit today

First November skiing EVER. Four runs open. Lots of dirt. They did a
lot with the snow they had, so I really can't complain. I didn't expect
a lot, and was pleasantly surprised.

Two months of 3 hours/week doing weights at the gym made only a LITTLE
difference. I think it took longer to get tired, but I got totally
zonked at just about the normal time. I really HATE slush.

The road was interesting. I think they knocked down one whole bank to
use for fill where the washout was, along with fill from the cliffs at
various points along the road that looked ...just different from what I
might have remembered. Still doing serious repair in various places.
The dam intersection is completely different now -- but I kind of liked
the old road. Sic transit gloria roads.

I was going to take pix of the road on the way back down, as well as
more mountain pictures, but I really should have known that I was
recharging overnight batteries, not 15-minute batteries :-( Next time...

You skied that crap? It's a base of zero. I've seen more snow in
Atlanta.

Vote for Romney. Repeal the nightmares.

Looks like you made the hike up to Chair 2. And that the "light rain"
over the weekend wiped out most of the off-trail snow.

I'd ski it. Opening day at Mt Holly often looks like that. Just enough
snow to cover the grass, and only on the WROD.

PS - Bev, learn to ski slush - slush is some of the most enjoyable
conditions once you get used to it.

My cammies are at the cleaners. I loaned my deer gun to my cousin. My
deer license is expired. There's a sale at Penneys. The fridge at
our deer camp is broken and there's no way to keep the beer cold. My
blu-ray DVD of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Part Two is
arriving today. Voices told me not to go. My dog died.

Vote for Romney. Repeal the nightmares.

He's terrified that the deer might read rsa. He ran out of diapers.

You're such a dumbass. Everybody knows that only bucks have antlers.
You know as much about hunting as you do about skiing or tennis.
You've probably never even seen a deer. (Except on the shoulder of
the highway.)

Vote for Romney. Repeal the nightmares.
