Default Numpty Google Earth question

Using the patented Mavis Beacon "Hunt&Peck" Technique, The Older
Gentleman typed
It's not in real time, is it? If not, then how far off?

And if there's an option to set it to real time (or close), then how?

Yes, guess who wants to examine the snow cover from altitude, as it
were?

As you now know, it's not sufficiently up-to-date. But even if it was,
how useful would it be? You'd get "white", or "not white". The snow
could be 0.5cm deep, or 30 metres.

I gather that's important to you types who insist on sliding down hills
with planks tied to your feet.

Oh yeah, but when conditions are *really* crappy (as they are right
now in the Pyrenees) you do get an awful lot of brown as well. And if
you know where to look in the resort in question, and you see lots of
brown, you might have time to arrange an alternative.

Try http://www.welove2ski.com/jsp/index.jsp?lnk=530. It's new and
pretty good for near enough live forecasts showing on a map.

"Dump of the day" and "Dump of the season". "Boy, we wish we'd been
there"

Was this site designed by a UKRMer?

The image of my house near Bury St Edmunds used to be quite new, but it's
now been replaced with a much higher resolution images that must be at least
twenty years old (houses built in the seventies and large willow trees are
missing!) being synical I assume it hase something to do with the nearby
American air bases.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember Mike Barnard
saying something like:

pretty good for near enough live forecasts showing on a map.

"Dump of the day" and "Dump of the season".

Sounds like a lot of ****.

Divided by a common language, again.

Not really - the word "dump" to describe a heavy snowfall is widely
used by most English speakers who slide down mountains for fun.

It's big enough.
