Default Hunter on skis

I found this short photo album:

(click each photo for larger view)

At first, I thought this might be a military skier,
but he is hunting ptarmigans.

The skis might be the Swedish Tegnäs mentioned here.

Mentioned where? I couldn't find it. Are they "forest" skis?
(230-280cm) I looked at the pic and can't tell.

Subject: Wood skis from Sweden
Some traditionalists may be interested in these birch skis made in
Sweden. Also their "EPOK" binding can be used with normal hiking boots.

In English even! :

I'm just guessing . The shape of the tip looks the same.
