Camelback PA is reportng a "powder day" with 6 inches of fresh. It's
amazing what'll pass for a powder day in the east.

I'm watching the eastern pacific from the GOES 10 data. As big as that
disturbance is, (from 60 degrees north latitude to 20 degrees north
latitude), it won't need a consolodated jet to produce some snow.

There's plenty of good powder out there, just not at the resort. Skied
some fine creamy pow this morning. Very aspect dependent. But worth
the poking around. Only made two turns on crappy snow all day. And the
best part? The turns to the house were the best of the
day. Fast. Power Hungry. Big Spray. Creeeeaaaammmmmmmm.

I must say though that the skin track on the trade route was
brutal. Good thing. Otherwise, everyone would have been up there.
