Default Is it easy to get between Zermatt and Saas Fee ?

As per the title, is it easy for a day trip ?
I assume train and then bus needed ?

Anyone done it to say how long it takes ?

Yes, you need to get a bus up to Saas Fee and a train to Zermatt.

Anyone done it to say how long it takes ?


Not done it by public transport, but a quite look on www.sbb.ch shows
it taking 1:44 form Zermatt to Saas Fee and 1:39 in the other
direction. Both ways you change at Stalden-Saas, half way down the
valley.

So yes, so-able for a day trip so long as you don't mind getting up
early.
