Equipment costs
Is there any knowledge about current relative costs of buying new in Alpine
resorts versus UK costs? I'm off to Les Arcs/La Plagne in January and am interested to know how cost of skis compares with buying in UK at 1GBP = 1.4euro. My previous experience suggests there's no competition between shops within a resort, choose on service and welcome given! -- Any help TIA Please reply to Newsgroup scrambled address

My bro got a set of Atomic ski's in Plagne Centre last year. He saved about
120 quid on the price they were going for at the Ski Show here in October. And we're off to La Plagne again tomorrow ;o) "mutley" wrote in message ...
