Default Big Mountain or Big Sky????

We are planning a trip at the end of January. Any suggestions between the
two. We I have been to Big Sky several times but might want to try
something different.

Big Sky is for yuppies, wher as TBM is for skiers. The closest *real* night
life to big sky is Bozeman, and that drive through the canyon sux at 1 AM
after a few white Russians!

Whitefish is small enough that u can walk every-wher and ther is a free ski
bus to the resort. The hotels rooms are cheaper, the lift ticks are cheaper
and the weed is cheaper (but not a stony).

But the best part of TBM has to be, all those crazy fuk'n canooks. No one
can party like a canook. And if ther from BC they usually have killer weed.

If u do stay in Big Sky dont drink at the resort w/ the yupsters. Ther is a
kick ass locals bar on the highway from Yellowstone (91 I think) anyway the
bar is attached to a motel the Coral motel I think (the far south end of the
Gallatin? valley). The rooms are cheep and so is the booze, plus its a bit
to rustic for the Jackson /Bay Area wanna-be-Euro-trash jet-set crowd, so u
get *real* ppl.

Enjoy - Thats a kick-ass place to spend the holidays. I guess late Jan. is
just as nice, plus its probably a bit cheaper as well. If your coming from
the west-coast take the train to Whitefish. Its cheep and a blast. But u
cant smoke from sac-pdx or from pdx-Spokane, and the bars shuts down at 9PM,
but other than that, its a riot!!!
