An idea for fundraising
I've just spent several months setting up a website to help my local
church here in London, UK, raise funds to extend its work in the local community. Then I thought that the same website could be used by my local choral society to raise money for their funds too. My mother asked if her local wildlife centre could use the website to raise money and then my daughter asked why her new secondary school couldn't also use the website to raise funds for a new art & design centre they're building. So now I have a website which can help any organisations raise money for their funds, anywhere in the world. Basically, it's a huge shopping mall (currently over 350 shops and stores) where we get a small commission for every sale through our website, together with a whole host of other sponsors who pay us for every unique visitor we send them, plus a handful of search engines and price comparison engines which pay us per search/comparison. By encouraging people to use the website for all (or some) of their online activities, we can create a huge charity fund. Then visitors can claim a share of that fund every time they log in - automatically, with each log-in being worth about 37c. Also, if someone introduces their friends and other family members to the website, then the first person will get a further 46c every time their friends log in (of course, in addition to that 46c, the friends will be able to claim 37c themselves every time they log in for their own favourite charities or good causes). In this way, charitable organisations, schools, churches, community projects and any good cause anywhere in the world can use our website to raise money for themselves, first by registering the organisation on the website, then by encouraging all their members or supporters to also register with us, nominating the relevant organisation as their sponsor, and finally by further encouraging all those members and supporters to use the website as often as they can, claiming 37c each time they do so, and to tell all their friends about it too because clearly, the more people we have using the website the more money we can raise. There are no charges for registering and no other charges at any other time as well. If you're interested in knowing more about this idea, either email me or log onto the website itself for more details - http://www.wisdom4all.com |
